Rain it does exist.

    Raining for the first time in 68 days. Around here it was becoming a myth, a distant memory, a thing of legend . While what we are getting is a blessing it will take a lot more to break our drought . Our local water source was down to 20% of normal. This morning we had 70 forest / brush fires state wide being fought . hopefully by tomorrow morning they will all be out. They say we will get some more tomorrow night , I hope so  we need many days of it nice slow soaking rain.

   On a sad note the fires in the Smokey mtns . are so bad Gatlinburg has been evacuated. I hope the squall line still has rain when it reaches them
